A naturally gifted athlete from the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area, she was winning Tennis junior tournaments before deciding that Golf was her passion.

Zakiya began winning the very first year she started playing. She joined the Atlanta Junior Golf Association in 2002 and Won "Player of the Year" and Won the Championship.

She continued her dominance in the 2002-2003 Season on the Plantations Junior Golf Tour by winning majors Nationally(Duke University, Harbour Town in Hilton Head, S.C., University of North Carolina and Chateau Elan). She was named and selected as part of ALL-AMERICAN team. She went on to Win the Championship on the Plantations Junior Golf Tour at the Disney Resorts in Orlando, Florida.

Zakiya has Won Player of the Year and the Championship in several junior leagues(Plantations Junior Golf Tour, Atlanta Junior Golf Association, US Kids GA Tour). In addition, Zakiya was awarded "Player of the Year", Winning overall champion and Winning every tournament played in her division. She went on to Win the Championship in her division for 2005 on the Georgia PGA Tour.

She has been recognized by Sergio Garcia, Stewart Cink, Calvin Peete, Lee Elder, Chris Tucker and American Business, Political and Civic Leaders around the nation for her accomplishments.

Zakiya had the Lowest Score(74) and was a Medalist Winner in the U.S. WOMEN'S OPEN Qualifier on May 15, 2006 at the Horseshoe Bend Country Club in Roswell, GA., which included LPGA Professionals and some of the best amateur players across the nation.The course was set to 6,417 Yards Par(72). This was Zakiya Randall's first time ever playing in the Qualifier.After just turning 15 years old a few days before the event, Zakiya was the Only and Youngest Atlantan to qualify. Zakiya took home the MEDAL!

Zakiya Wins the 51st Mid-West 2006 National Championship. Zakiya Won her division and was Overall Junior Girls Champion in the Championship held on July 15-16, 2006 in Lima,Ohio.

Zakiya was the TOP Georgian Junior Girl in the National Event at Burgett H. Mooney, Rome Classic at the Coosa Country Club on August 1-3, 2006.

Zakiya qualifies to Play in U.S. Women's Amateur Public Links Championship. The field included some of the best amateurs across the nation.
Zakiya was the Youngest to Qualify for the event on May 21, 2007.

Zakiya takes home another trophy and is a consecutive two-time TOP Georgian Junior Girl scoring 74-69-72 in the National Event at Burgett H. Mooney, Rome Classic at the Coosa Country Club on June 26-28, 2007.
